Tracking
Several types of respondent tracking are available using the system:
  • Survey Tracking: Views, Started, Completed, Deleted survey counts.
  • E-mail Campaign Tracking Responses to the E-mail Invitations campaign through the address book
  • E-mail Address Tracking: Tracking of respondent e-mail addresses through the address book. This is useful for reminder mailings, or to see who has responded.

Many clients ask why respondent e-mail addresses are not automatically captured when a survey is taken.
The answer is that e-mail addresses do not lie around in the browser or the Internet and can only be reported by you or the respondent.

E-mail addresses can only be captured if one of the following is used:

(1) You Request: Add a question that requests respondents enter their e-mail address.

(2) Use the Address Book: The address book feature available to professional accounts allows you to enter e-mail addresses into the address book. A special code identifying respondents is automatically attached to the survey invitation, thereby enabling tracking.
